Initially we wanted to use someone's cover of a popular song for our film music, however due to lack of response by these people we have decided to create our own music.
We will be using GarageBand to create the music - there will be different sequences of music because of several changes in atmosphere in the two minutes.
We will also try and find copyright free music to use as we can't create the right atmosphere for some scenes with GarageBand.
Because our film is a psychological thriller, we need music that will create an eerie or haunting atmosphere - we also need pieces if music that will build tension and cause the pace of the film to quicken. So, maybe music that contains vocals (preferably, a woman's vocals as they generally tend to create a more ominous feel to the music) that simply just consists of "ah's" (obviously more melodic and drawn out than the written version). Or, the use of string instruments in the music could also create a similar atmosphere.
