Treatment: Full Film

Title: a.ban.don
Duration: 90 minutes
Audience: Male and Females aged 15+
Synopsis: All of the girls are at Beth's house and one of her friends brings over some drugs. Beth tries the drugs and she starts to feels sick. Beth then passes out obsessed with the thought that her younger cousin (Chloe) could be seriously in danger of the drugs effects.
Whilst in the dream (the audience don't know that it is a dream) Beth gets up and walks into the living room to find her cousin dead after taking the drugs. The girls rush to hide the drugs and Chloe's body.
Beth's parents come home after a frantic phone call from the girls saying Chloe has disappeared. No one can find her, and Beth starts to get haunted by her dead cousin. The news reports on the TV about Chloe being dead and the pressure of killing her cousin and hiding her body gets to Beth. She can't take it so she attempts to kill herself (by jumping off of a high place in her dream; this causes her to jolt awake, but the audience doesn't know that what she experienced up until then was a dream).
Beth wakes up on the toilet floor about half an hour later in reality with her friends around her cheering as she wakes up. Beth asks what happened and she tells the girls what happened in her dream. Beth is still experiencing quite a bit of confusion - she doesn't know if she is dead or alive as she can't distinguish her dream from reality. She lives forever in this state (unable to tell if the world she lives in is real or not) and the film ends.
